Thinking about starting a company, or interested in how to be more effective driving change within a larger organization?
Presented by the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation and Discovery to Product, The Innovation Roadmap Workshop Series provides hands-on instruction and practice for aspiring entrepreneurs, delivering a fully encompassing education about how to take a concept from idea to reality. The series consists of eight workshops, each of which help demystify different aspects of developing a successful business plan. The sessions are led by startup veterans, industry professionals, and subject matter experts that will give you a roadmap to entrepreneurial success. The two-hour workshop time will be split between instruction and practice, so we recommend that applicants come in with a specific project they are developing. You do not need to have a startup to participate.
Participants are welcome to attend the entire series, but full participation is not a requirement. During registration, you will be able to indicate which sessions you would like to attend. Workshops will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Discovery Building. Advance registration is required. Workshops are free and open to UW–Madison faculty, staff and students.
The registration deadline is February 18.
