Programs

All Discovery to Product education programs are free and open to UW–Madison faculty, staff, and students.

Cohort Programs

Interested in joining the growing list of successful UW–Madison spinout companies? Consider attending one of our cohort-based courses, Innovation to Market (I2M) or Igniter. Modeled on the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, these multi-week courses use the industry-leading Business Model Canvas framework to help you assess the value of your innovation and develop an implementation strategy. A set number of teams (typically 15 or fewer) are admitted to each course.

The next application deadline is May 15. Click through to program descriptions above to learn more & apply.

Mentoring

Discovery to Product’s Innovation and Commercialization Specialists provide free coaching and mentoring to all UW–Madison innovators.  We are veteran business developers, entrepreneurs, product managers, and startup executives that have experience in engineering and physical sciences, health care and life sciences, information technology, food science, and consumer goods. You don’t have to be a current or past participant in a D2P program to connect with us, and it’s never too early or late to check in to get help with your project. Give us a call or stop in for a coffee—we’re here to help.
