Cecily Brose is an Innovation and Commercialization Specialist for Discovery to Product at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She has over 25 years of diverse strategic and operational experience, from roles working with startups to industry-leading multinational corporations. With the launch of over 200 new product introductions, three granted patents, and delivery of over $100MM in productivity initiatives across a diverse set of brands in the Kraft Foods portfolio, Cecily is uniquely qualified to mentor and advise teams from idea generation to commercialization. She has extensive new product and commercialization expertise in the US and globally, including market assessment, customer development, business model development, intellectual property strategy and IP management, and formulation and packaging development. In her role at UW-Madison, Cecily has individually mentored over 300+ innovators to transform their innovations into products and services with sustainable business models. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science from Purdue University and a master’s in Food Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
